A woman in her 50s died on Friday afternoon at Stavanger University Hospital after ending up under her own car in Søredalen in Sandnes earlier in the day.
“The relatives have been notified,” the police announced.
“It appears to be a tragic accident. Her own car started to move, and she ended up under it,” the police told news bureau NTB.
There were witnesses at the scene when the accident happened, according to the police.
Forensic technicians and the Norwegian Public Roads Administration’s accident group have been on site.
The case will be investigated further.
The police were notified of the incident at 11.30 AM on Friday.
