Trondheim Municipality could run out of rapid tests before they get new supplies.
“There are very few tests in our entire region now. Some of our neighboring municipalities already don’t have tests. We are about to run out,” municipal chief Morten Wolden in Trondheim told the newspaper Nidaros.
He believes that a sharp increase in deliveries is needed to meet the new rules. From night to Wednesday, the infection quarantine for household members of infected people can be replaced with daily testing for up to eleven days.
“It has been suggested that we will get some tests on Friday. 200,000 tests. But they will not last long in Trondheim if household members of infected people are to be able to test themselves every day to go to work,” he said.
