Trondheim: Man in his 50s hospitalized with serious injuries after being robbed at home

The police in Trondheim are looking for several perpetrators after a man was robbed in his home on Sunday night. The man is hospitalized with serious injuries.

The police were notified of the robbery in Haldens gate on Møllenberg in Trondheim at 9:05 PM on Sunday. 

According to the police, the man was robbed and subjected to violence in his own apartment.

“The man, who is in his 50s, has been deprived of assets,” operations manager Roger Mogstad in Trøndelag Police District told news bureau NTB on Sunday night.

Taken to St. Olav’s hospital

The man was taken to St. Olav’s hospital. He was conscious.

“The injuries to the victim are described as serious,” investigation leader Sigmund Stenhaug told the newspaper Adresseavisen on Monday morning.

The man is said to have been threatened with an object, but the police did not want to disclose details. 

No one was arrested in the case on Monday.
