The police have charged a woman in connection with a violent incident in Trondheim.

The police received a report on Saturday morning about a seriously injured man on a bus. They found him in Ranheim, and he was taken care of by the health care services, the Trøndelag Police District stated on Sunday.

The man has been questioned and does not have life-threatening injuries, police attorney Anne Haave in the Trøndelag Police District said in a press release on Sunday.

“The police have charged a woman with inflicting grievous bodily harm, and she is now a wanted person in Norway. The police do not want to release further information about the accused woman, but she is believed not to be dangerous to the public,” Haave added.

Investigation

The police have conducted forensic investigations in an apartment building in the center of Trondheim, considered a possible crime scene.

The police do not want to say how the man’s injury occurred, as it is part of the investigation, the newspaper Adresseavisen wrote.

Haave says that the police are not aware of any witnesses to the incident.
