The leadership of Trondheim Municipality decided on Tuesday to remove the requirement to use face masks in public places.

At the same time, the Municipality recommends that people wear face masks when taking a bus, taxi, or traveling by public transport, Trondheim Municipality wrote on its website.

The recommendation for the use of a face mask applies to adults and children over the age of twelve whenever people cannot keep one meter of distance from others.
