Trondheim registered 69 new corona cases in the last 24 hours

In the last 24 hours, 69 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus in Trondheim. 

Multiple cases were reported late on Tuesday. 

“We are experiencing an increase in infection. In Trondheim, the official number is 69… A lot (of the cases) are connected to the student community,” municipal director Morten Wolden said on Wednesday, according to Norwegian Broadcasting (NRK) and the newspaper Adresseavisen.

St. Olav’s hospital in Trondheim now has four hospitalized corona patients – one of them in the intensive care unit.

On Tuesday, 25 new cases were reported. Furthermore, 894 people in Trondheim tested themselves for corona on Tuesday.
