A man who refused to go to a quarantine hotel in June after arriving in Trondheim by plane has been reported to the police by the Municipality.

The man, who lives in Trondheim, decided not to go to the quarantine hotel he was referred to. That is a violation of the regulations, consultant and former police officer Roy Johnsen told newspaper Adresseavisen.

Therefore, the Municipality has reported the man. In the report, according to Adressa, the Municipality wrote that the man said that he was not going to a quarantine hotel. He was warned that he could risk punishment.

“You must act in line with the instruction you receive at the border. The police and border control are responsible for this,” Johnsen added.
