Three places in Nordland had temperatures above 20 degrees all night Wednesday through Thursday and thus categorized as a tropical night.
The measuring stations in Glomfjord, Lurøy and Seljelia had all minimum temperatures that did not fall below 20 degrees, the Meteorological Institute reports.
At the same time, large parts of southern Norway have been hit by a violent thunderstorms with a lot of rain and heavy storms that have caused major problems.
