A truck with 12,500 liters alcohol was stopped at Svinesund
A truck with 12,500 liters alcohol and 49200 cigarettes in the cargo was stopped at Svinesund in June. The seizure represents 1 million in evaded taxes to the Treasury
The Polish driver (47) was also previously taken for smuggling. Now customs agency requested the truck confiscated because it is used for smuggling, in addition to being equipped with fake Norwegian license plates.
The seizure was made by customs officers on June the 22.
