After several corona-related delays, the amusement park Tusenfryd is set to finally open its doors on Saturday.

As local corona regulations stopped applying in Ås Municipality, the amusement park, which is located just outside Oslo, is ready for opening on Saturday.

Several infection control measures have been introduced at the park, many of which are identical to Norway’s current infection control advice.

Furthermore, specific measures have also been introduced that are specially adapted to the park and the operation of the attractions.

Special measures

One of the measures is that there is a limited number of tickets available daily. Therefore, Tusenfryd asks those who want to visit the amusement park to order tickets before the visit.

“This is absolutely necessary for us to be able to keep control of how many people we have in the park, and here the ‘first come, first served’ principle applies,” Tusenfryd director Bjørn Håvard Solli noted.

Initially, less than 50% of normal visits are allowed per day, but this will be assessed and adjusted on the basis of the current restrictions, infection situation, and scope of infection control measures.
