Two 18-year-olds stabbed in Stavanger

Two 18-year-old men were stabbed by an unknown perpetrator in Stavanger city center on Friday night. One of them was transported to hospital with unknown injuries.

 

The other man appeared to have been less injured say police. Neither the men, nor any of the four witnesses the police have talked to know who the perpetrator is.

“There are indications that there were two men, but it is still unclear who has done what, so it will be further investigation before we respond” said operations manager, Irene Ragnhildstveit, of the Southwestern Police District to NTB news.

The police have talked to one of the injured men, but he will be formally questioned for the first time tomorrow. There are also several other witnesses to talk to.

The two 18-year-olds had been at a party for future Russ (school leavers) when the event took place at Domkirkeplassen in Stavanger city center.The police were notified of the incident via AMK at 02.03.
