Two people have died of the Coronavirus the last 24 hours at Akershus University Hospital. In total, nine people have now died from the virus in Norway. ( last news 10 died )
– “A total of two people have died after being infected by the Coronavirus at Ahus,” says hospital director Øystein Mæland.
One of the deaths happened yesterday, Sunday, the hospital tells NTB. The deceased had his registered office in Nordre Follo.
At a press conference Monday afternoon, one more death was announced.
The deaths were the first in Norway since Thursday.
The first eight people who have died were all elderly patients. There are currently no details of the ninth person.
On Monday, 31 patients with Covid-19 were admitted to Ahus, four more than the day before.
