Two women were found dead in an apartment in a residential area in Flekkefjord on Friday. Police are investigating the case but say they do not suspect criminal elements.

On Friday night, forensic technicians were present on site, newspaper Avisen Agder reports.

“Two dead women have been found, but there is nothing to indicate anything criminal. The cause of death is somewhat unclear, but it doesn’t indicate anything unnatural,” operations manager Eivind Formoe in Agder Police District told the newspaper.

Fædrelandsvennen writes that the police moved out to the address at 2:14 PM on Friday after receiving a report.

Formoe acknowledged that the fact that two women were found dead in the same place at the same time was significant.

“Yes, that is why carry out investigations on the spot to find out more about the circumstances.”

He also said that the dead would probably be autopsied so that the cause of death can be determined.
