Two people lost their lives in traffic in Norway last month. That is four fewer than the same month last year.

Both of the dead were men, according to Trygg Trafikk. Since 2010, an average of more than ten people have lost their lives in traffic in January.

“Even though there are fewer deaths than we have seen in January in previous years, two deaths means that there are many relatives who have had a terrible start to 2022.

“We must work tirelessly to reduce the accident figures in 2022,” senior adviser Bård Morten Johansen in Trygg Trafikk noted.
