Two people in their 80s are injured, one seriously, in a stabbing incident in Bjørnevatn in Sør-Varanger. A man in his 50s has been arrested.
The police warn that both the injured have been transported to the hospital. The injuries of one person have been described as serious.
The people involved seem to be related.
“We arrested a man in his 50s, and there are two people who have been transported to the hospital with injuries. Both were stabbed with a knife. One appears to be seriously injured,” operations manager Jørgen Haukland Hansen in the Finnmark Police District told news bureau NTB.
The incident happened in a private home. The investigation is already underway.
