Two teenage boys have been charged with sexually abusing a twelve-year-old girl in a solarium east of Oslo. In addition, three teenagers are accused of sexual acts.

According to, the accused are aged 16–17.

The abuse is said to have happened on April 12, police attorney Christian Hatlo in the Oslo Police District told news bureau NTB.

“We had an intervention last week where all five were arrested at the same time, so they would not coordinate their explanations,” Hatlo said.

According to the police attorney, the family of the girl reported the case, and the five were arrested based on her explanations and surveillance photos.

Three of the accused do not admit criminal guilt, while the lawyers of the other two did not want to comment on the case.

None of the teenagers have been produced for custody, partly because of their age and partly because the police believe the risk of misuse of evidence is small after they have been questioned.
