Two teenagers charged with inflicting grievous bodily harm after machete fight in Oslo

Two boys aged 17 and 18 are charged with inflicting grievous bodily harm after a fight on Karl Johans gate in Oslo in February.

According to the indictment, the two boys and several others attacked another boy on February 12, the newspaper Avisa Oslowrites. The 17-year-old is also said to have used a machete.

The boy suffered a fracture in his forearm and had to get seven stitches after being stabbed.

The young boys were arrested later that evening in Ski, Siggerud, and Ås outside Oslo. All involved are residents of the Eastern Police District.

The two defendants have to appear in Oslo District Court in mid-September.
