Just over two-thirds of those who responded to a survey have been exposed to a security incident aimed at their business.
This was shown in the ‘Cyber Crime Survey’ conducted by PwC.
Businesses that are so-called ‘cyber-pioneers’, that is, good in data security, are less often affected.
Eight out of ten pioneers say they had discovered cyber attacks before they had affected the business, compared with six out of ten businesses that do not have as good cyber-security knowledge.
