The last announced outbreak of the Corona virus at a health facility in Norway was at the beginning of July.
In week 27, there was a registered outbreak at a hospital and at another health facility, the National Institute of Public Health wrote in its latest weekly report.
The last registered outbreak at a nursing home was at week 25, i.e. in mid-June. An employee was reported to be infected at a nursing home in Lillestrøm municipality last Wednesday, but this shouldn’t have spread throughout the facility. .
In total, there have been 50 registered outbreaks of the Corona virus at Norwegian health facilities. 150 residents at Norwegian nursing homes have lost their lives so far during the pandemic.
