A man in his 30s charged with assaulting two young boys on a playground in Stavanger has been remanded in custody for four weeks.
Both victims are under ten years old, the newspaper Stavanger Aftenblad writes. The abuse allegedly took place on a playground close to a school in Stavanger on Sunday.
A 39-year-old man is charged in the case. In Sør-Rogaland District Court on Tuesday, the man admitted that he assaulted both boys.
He stated that he is attracted to boys of that age and could not control himself that day.
According to the newspaper, the sentence for the most serious offense in the charges could lead to 10 years in prison. In 2018, the accused man was sentenced to 90 days in prison for sexually abusing a 12-year-old boy.
