UD waiting for information about Norwegian who was supposedly killed in Brazil
Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed that a Norwegian man supposedly died in Brazil, but on Sunday the death had still not been officially confirmed.
– We do not expect to get more information about the case until Monday, said press guard Rune Bjåstad Foreign Ministry news agency NTB just before 12 o’clock Sunday.
According to local media, a Norwegian in his 40s was stabbed to death Saturday morning. Two people have been arrested on suspicion of murder.
The Norwegian was residing near Caucaia.
