On Friday, Ukrainian authorities called on the EU to close all borders with Russia and Belarus on land, sea, and air.
This should be done to strengthen the effect of the sanctions that the West has introduced after the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the country’s infrastructure minister said on Friday.
” We ask the EU to completely block all land and sea connections to Russia and Belarus in order to strengthen the economic pressure on the two countries,” the minister noted.
