“Norway must help Ukraine both militarily and economically,” Ukraine’s ambassador Vyacheslav Jatsuk believes. “It is urgent,” he emphasizes.

“Russia’s aggression affects not only Ukraine but all members of the transatlantic community, including Norway. And Ukraine is dependent on practical help from the transatlantic community, including Norway, to be able to resist the aggression,” he wrote in an email sent to NTB.

He specifically asked for support to the country’s military and financial support.

“The life and security of Ukrainian citizens, as well as the security of all citizens throughout Europe and the future world order, depend on a common and effective response from all members of the transatlantic community. Ukraine asks all countries, including Norway, to act immediately,” he wrote.
