“All help will be useful,” Ukraine’s ambassador to Norway said on Tuesday. He asked Norwegian food producers to send food to the war-torn country.

“The most urgent need now is (to get) food. Our food supplies are being destroyed due to the brutal attack,” Ambassador Vjatsjeslav Jatsiuk told Norwegian Broadcasting (NRK).

Last week, Tine sent 40,000 liters of milk to Ukraine at the request of the authorities in the country.

“It is a very important example to follow. I hope that other Norwegian companies follow suit,” Jatsiuk said.

He asks the food producers who have the opportunity to send pre-packaged food so that it is ready to be delivered to those who need it. Ideally, the food should have a long shelf life.

“We do not expect the impossible, but all help will be useful. It is, of course, easier for large companies to make contributions,” he emphasized.
