According to figures from Ukrainian authorities, twelve journalists have been killed in Ukraine since the war began a month ago.

“To tell the truth, (President Vladimir) Putin’s aggression is deadly. Twelve journalists have already died in the war,” Attorney General Iryna Venediktova wrote on Facebook.

Another ten journalists have been injured, she added.

According to Venediktova, the twelve journalists were killed by Russian forces. The information has not been confirmed by independent sources.

She also stated that at least 56 media employees had been attacked so far in the war, among them 15 foreigners from, among others, Great Britain, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Switzerland, the United Arab Emirates, and the United States.
