On Tuesday, Ullensaker Municipality will introduce three new coronavirus measures to limit the spread of infection. The measures initially last until July 13.

The Municipality stated that, from Tuesday, three new local measures wd be introduced to limit the spread of infection:

  • Everyone over the age of 12 must wear a face mask indoors in public places.
  • People who are in a household with someone in quarantine must go into waiting quarantine. If you live with someone who is in quarantine, you should also be in quarantine.
  • There will be stricter requirements for restaurants/bars with an alcohol-serving stop at midnight, and guests will not be allowed in after 10 PM.

Last week, Ullensaker had 119 new cases of corona infection, up from 24 new infections the week before.

“Initially, these measures will apply for eight days, until Tuesday, July 13. If we see that the spread of infection decreases during the week, we will be able to return to normal measures. If the infection remains at a high level, the measures will be extended and possibly strengthened,” municipal chief physician Lars Meyer-Myklestad warned.
