Unconscious person found near an electric scooter in Bergen

On Friday night, police and health personnel were called by passersby after a person was found unconscious by an electric scooter in Bergen city center.

The police were notified of the incident at 10:10 PM on Friday. Passersby found the person unconscious at Nygårdshøyden in the center of Bergen.

“An electric scooter was by his side,” the Western Police District wrote about the incident.

According to the fire brigade, the man had some wounds on his face when their personnel arrived at the scene.

“He was alert and conscious when the fire brigade arrived. He had some cuts and injuries to his face,” Ronald Drotningsvik told the newspaper Bergensavisen.

The fire brigade in the city first reported an accident involving an electric scooter and a car but later corrected the report and stated that no car was not involved in the incident.
