Police believe a minor boy sexually assaulted a primary school girl in Time in Rogaland last autumn.

“We have now charged a boy of secondary school age, who is below the minimum age of criminal responsibility, for sexual acts with children under 16 years,” police attorney Cathrine Tanberg in the Southwest Police District noted.

The case has been under investigation since September 22.

Last autumn, a girl of primary school age is said to have been sexually abused while walking home from school.

Despite extensive investigation and a number of tips in the case, the police have not had grounds to charge anyone until now.

The accused boy has been questioned together with one of his parents.
