United Nations: More than 1.5 million people have fled Ukraine
According to UN High Commissioner for Refugees Filippo Grandi, more than 1.5 million Ukrainians have fled to neighboring countries in the last ten days.
This is the fastest-growing refugee crisis in Europe since World War II, Grandi wrote on Twitter.
The UN fears that up to 4 million people will flee Ukraine as a result of the Russian invasion and war, while other experts believe that up to 10 million Ukrainians may be forced to flee the country.
