Nearly 836,000 people have fled Ukraine, the United Nations (UN) announced on Wednesday.
A total of 835,928 people have crossed the border into neighboring countries, according to updated figures from the UN High Commissioner for Refugees.
On Tuesday afternoon, the figure amounted to 677,000, according to the UNHCR’s Filippo Grandi.
More than half of the refugees have traveled to Poland.
