Unn Kristin Olsen was elected as Parat leader at Parat’s national meeting on Thursday. Deputy leader Anneli Nyberg was re-appointed.

Olsen was previously head of the Parat Police, deputy head of Parat in 2018, and has been acting head since 2019 after Vegard Einan was appointed State Secretary in the Solberg government.

“I have held various local, regional, and central positions for Parat since 1996, in recent years as acting manager.

“Gaining the National Assembly’s trust makes me proud, and I am ready to lift Parat’s members and shop stewards up in the years ahead,” Parat’s newly elected leader stated in a press release.
