So far in Oslo, 92 percent of the usual amount of rain has already fallen in July, according to meteorologists.
In June, a total of 36 heat records were set around the country, and preliminary figures show that it was probably the warmest month ever recorded in Norway.
But when June turned into July, everything went upside down and the rain started pouring down – especially in eastern Norway.
Only in the first week of July, some places in eastern Norway have received as much rainfall as is common for the entire month, the Meteorological Institute says on Twitter.
In Oslo, for example, 92 percent of the usual amount of rain has already come during the big vacation month.
