Update: 1,112 new corona infection cases registered in Oslo in the last 24 hours

A total of 1,112 new corona infection cases have been registered in Oslo in the last 24 hours. That is 270 more than the same day last week, and 208 more than on Wednesday.

In the last two weeks, an average of 972 infection cases have been registered per day. The infection rates are highest in the Bjerke district, with an infection pressure of 2,986 infected people per 100,000 inhabitants in the last two weeks.

The figures are lowest in the districts of Nordre Aker, Vestre Aker, and Ullern. The peak of infection in Oslo was registered on December 14, 2021, with 1,194 confirmed cases in one day.

A total of 92,199 Oslo citizens have been registered as infected with the coronavirus since March last year.
