Update: 13,337 new corona cases registered in Norway in the last 24 hours

In the last 24 hours, 13,337 corona infection cases have been registered in Norway. That is 4,860 more than the same day last week.

In the last seven days, an average of 15,023 corona infection cases have been registered per day. The corresponding average seven days ago was 9,229.

On Saturday, 224 corona patients were hospitalized in Norway – six fewer than the day before. 67 of the patients are in intensive care, and 47 of them are on respirators, according to the Norwegian Directorate of Health’s overview.

A total of 609,950 people have now tested positive for corona in Norway since the start of the pandemic, according to the National Institute of Public Health (FHI).

A total of 1,414 corona-infected people have died in Norway since March 2020, preliminary figures show.
