Update: 1,379,744 Norwegians have received the first dose of the corona vaccine

A total of 1,379,744 people have been vaccinated with the first dose of the corona vaccine in Norway, the FHI’s statistics show on Monday.

Furthermore, 369,537 people have received the second dose.

On Monday, 2,451 people received the first dose, and 1,148 people received the second dose.

The first coronavirus vaccine in Norway – the one produced by Pfizer and BioNTech – was administered on December 27.

On 15 January, the first dose of the Moderna vaccine was administered, and on February 7, the AstraZeneca vaccine was given to healthcare professionals.

The use of AstraZeneca vaccines has been suspended in Norway following reports of possible serious side effects.
