A total of 14 new corona infection cases have been registered in Gloppen Municipality in the last 24 hours. Out of the total, 12 are children, while two are fully vaccinated adults.

Municipal director Anders Skipenes told Firda that there are about 200 close contacts to the 14 new cases of infection.

The Municipality now has 21 active cases, including the seven cases that were reported on Friday and Saturday.

“It spreads because the infection has reached the Municipality and because children under 12 are unvaccinated. They become infected when they are exposed to infection,” Skipenes stated.
