In the last 24 hours, 14 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus in Ørsta and Volda. The municipalities are not introducing new infection measures.

So far, the two municipalities have registered 137 cases of infection in an ongoing outbreak, Ørsta Municipality wrote on its website on Tuesday.

The municipal management held a meeting with the municipal chief physicians on Monday.

It was decided that kindergartens, summer schools, and SFOs should open and operate at the “yellow” level after the holidays.

Many of those infected in the outbreak are in their early 20s, and the infection has spread during parties and in nightclubs in the area.

But the Municipality has also praised young adults in the villages for being responsible and cooperative in the infection detection work.
