Update: 170 new corona infection cases registered in Oslo in the last 24 hours

A total of 170 new corona infection cases have been registered in Oslo in the last 24 hours – 61 more than the same day last week, but 30 fewer than on Friday.

In the last two weeks, an average of 159 infection cases has been registered per day.

The infection rates are highest in the Alna district, with an infection pressure of 799 infected people per 100,000 inhabitants in the last two weeks. The figures are lowest in the districts of Nordre Aker, St. Hanshaugen, and Ullern.

The peak of infection in Oslo was registered on August 30 this year, with 680 cases in one day.

A total of 56,851 Oslo citizens have been registered as infected with the coronavirus since March last year.
