A total of 20 new corona-infected people have been registered in Drammen in the last 24 hours. In four of the cases, the route of infection is unknown.
Drammen Municipality stated that one person had been diagnosed with coronavirus after traveling abroad. The route of infection has been confirmed for 15 people.
The case average for the last seven days is 16 infected people.
Despite 22 cases on Wednesday and 20 cases on Thursday, the municipal chief physician believes that there is currently no basis for saying that the downward trend in infection in the Municipality in recent weeks is about to reverse again.
“We expected that the numbers could go up again after the Easter holidays, but fortunately, we do not see a steep increase in the number of infected people after Easter so far,” municipal chief physician Ingeborg Johannessen noted.
