A total of 22 people in Drammen Municipality have been diagnosed with the coronavirus in the last 24 hours.
The route of transmission is known for 19 of the 22 newly infected, Drammen Municipality stated.
In addition, one person has been diagnosed with an infection after traveling abroad, while the route of infection is unknown for two people. For one of these two, infection tracing is still ongoing.
“22 cases is the highest number of infections reported in almost a week. But as usual, we do not draw any conclusions based on individual figures. When we look at the infection figures over time, there still seems to be a declining infection pressure in Drammen,” municipal chief physician John David Johannessen said.
In the last week, 128 new cases have been detected in Drammen.
