Update: 221 corona-infected patients are currently admitted to Norwegian hospitals
On Friday, 221 corona-infected patients were admitted to hospitals in Norway. That is a decrease of six patients from the day before.
Out of the total, 37 of the patients are on respirators, and 62 are in the intensive care unit, according to the Norwegian Directorate of Health’s overview on Friday.
Since February last year, 254,367 people have been diagnosed with the coronavirus in the country, Friday’s preliminary figures from the national reporting system for infectious diseases (MSIS) show.
