Update: 224 corona-infected patients admitted to hospitals in Norway – six fewer than the day before
On Saturday, 224 corona-infected patients were hospitalized in Norway - six fewer than the day before.
Corona patients make up 2.4% of all hospitalized patients in Norway. 67 of the corona patients are in intensive care, which amounts to 26.2% of all intensive care patients. Among corona patients in intensive care, 47 are on respirators, according to the Norwegian Directorate of Health’s overview on Saturday.
Since February 2020, 596,613 people have been diagnosed with the coronavirus in Norway, Saturday’s preliminary figures from the national reporting system for infectious diseases (MSIS) show.
