Update: 2,252,220 Norwegians have received the third dose of the corona vaccine

A total of 2,252,220 people have been vaccinated with the third dose of the corona vaccine in Norway, the FHI’s statistics show on Monday. Furthermore, 4,300,948 people received the first dose, and 3,959,288 received the second dose.

41.8% of the Norwegian population over the age of 18 has thus received the third dose, while 79.8% and 73.4% of the population have received the first and second doses, respectively.

For the population over the age of 18 for the first and second dose, the proportions are 92.9% and 89.9%, respectively.

Currently, the first dose is not given to adolescents under 18 years of age. Among people aged 16-17, 96.7% received the first dose, and 82.7% received the second dose. At the age of 12-15, the proportions are 78.9% and 2.6%, respectively.

Norway started its corona vaccination drive on December 27, 2020.
