Update: 2,385 new corona cases registered in Oslo in the last 24 hours

A total of 2,385 new corona infection cases have been registered in Oslo in the last 24 hours. That is 280 fewer than the same day last week, and 523 fewer than on Friday.

In the last two weeks, an average of 4,272 infection cases have been registered per day.

Previously, the testing system led to a larger proportion of the population taking a PCR test after testing positive on a self-testing. 

Infection rates are highest in the Nordre Aker district, with an infection pressure of 10,789 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in the last two weeks.

The peak of corona infection in Oslo was registered on January 29, 2022, with 5,928 cases in a single day.

A total of 209,295 infection cases have been registered in Oslo since March 2020.
