Update: 277 new corona cases registered in Oslo in the last 24 hours

A total of 277 new corona infection cases have been registered in Oslo in the last 24 hours. That is 77 more than the same day last week.

In the last two weeks, an average of 215 infection cases has been registered per day in the capital.

The infection rates are highest in the Alna district, with an infection pressure of 1,032 infected people per 100,000 inhabitants in the last two weeks. 

The figures are lowest in the districts Grünerløkka, Sagene, and St. Hanshaugen.

The infection is now spreading in all age groups, and the proportion of infected people under the age of 20 has fallen to 27% in the last two weeks. A total of 3,146 people have been registered infected in the last two weeks, and 856 are in the age group between 0 and 19 years.

The peak of infection in Oslo was registered on August 30 this year, with 680 cases in one day.
