A total of 2,858,831 people have been vaccinated with the third dose of the corona vaccine in Norway, the FHI’s statistics show on Friday. Furthermore, as of Friday, 4,326,880 people received the first dose, and 4,015,453 received the second.
53% of the population over the age of 18 has thus received the third dose. In comparison, 80.3 and 74.5% of the general population have received the first and second dose, respectively.
For the population over the age of 18 for the first and second dose, the proportions are 93.6 and 91%, respectively.
Currently, dose three is not given to adolescents under 18 years of age. Among people aged 16–17, 89% received the first dose, and 78.3% received the second dose. At the age of 12–15, the proportions are 80.4 and 8.9%, respectively.
Norway started its corona vaccination program on December 27, 2020.
