Update: 3,022 new corona cases have been registered in Norway in the last 24 hours

In the last 24 hours, 3,022 new corona infection cases have been registered in Norway. That is 600 fewer than the same day last week.

In the last seven days, an average of 4,649 corona infection cases have been registered per day. The corresponding average seven days ago was 4,626, so the trend is rising.

On Sunday, 356 corona patients were hospitalized in Norway – eight fewer than the day before. Out of the total, 117 of the patients were in intensive care, and 74 among them were on respirators, according to the Norwegian Directorate of Health’s overview.

As of Monday, 8.9 million corona tests had been performed in the country since February last year. A total of 350,424 people tested positive for corona.

To date, 4,269,323 people have received the first dose of the corona vaccine, 3,897,475 people have received the second dose, and 1,222,199 have received the third dose.
