In the last 24 hours, 309 corona infection cases have been registered in Norway. That is 210 fewer than the same day last week.

In the last seven days, an average of 524 corona infection cases has been registered per day. The corresponding average seven days ago was 684, so the trend is declining.

On Friday, 94 corona patients were hospitalized – one more than the day before. Out of the total, 32 of the patients are in the intensive care unit, and 22 among them are on respirators, according to the Norwegian Directorate of Health’s overview.

As of midnight on Saturday, 7.7 million corona tests had been carried out in Norway since February last year. A total of 190,224 people tested positive.
