Update: 366 new corona infection cases registered in Norway in the last 24 hours

In the last 24 hours, 366 corona infection cases have been registered in Norway. That is 189 fewer than the average in the last seven days and 340 fewer than the corresponding average a week ago.

In the last seven days, a total of 3,889 new cases of infection have been registered in Norway – a declining trend compared with the corresponding average seven days ago.

In Oslo, 88 new corona infection cases have been registered in the last 24 hours – 18 fewer than the same day last week. In the last two weeks, an average of 199 infection cases has been registered per day in the capital.

As of Monday, 4.9 million corona tests had been performed in Norway since February last year.

Out of these, 107,510 people have tested positive, according to preliminary figures from the national reporting system for infectious diseases (MSIS).

A total of 1,025,429 people received the first dose of the corona vaccine, and 299,631 people received the second dose.

On Sunday, 209 corona patients were hospitalized – eleven fewer than the day before.
