Update: 3,750 new corona infection cases have been registered in Norway in the last 24 hours

In the last 24 hours, 3,750 corona infection cases have been registered in Norway. That is 291 fewer than the same day last week.

In the last seven days, an average of 3,374 corona infection cases have been registered per day. The corresponding average seven days ago was 4,531, so the trend is declining.

On Monday, 328 corona patients were hospitalized in Norway – 21 more than the day before. Furthermore, 124 of the patients are in the intensive care unit, and among them, 85 are on respirators, according to the Norwegian Directorate of Health’s overview.

As of Tuesday, 9.1 million corona tests had been performed in the country since February last year. A total of 378,087 people tested positive.

To date, 4,279,614 people in Norway have received the first dose of the corona vaccine, 3,912,809 people received the second dose, and 1,434,141 received the third dose.
